I (AJ) am an atheist. This means that I reject the hypothesis of the existence of entities beyond the physical realm, such as spirits, ghosts, or gods. Because they don’t exists, they do not influence the world or have views of how the world works, or how humans should behave. Any such thinking is man-made, e.g. expressing itself in the form of religions, which are understood to be social constructs.
Anybody has the right to believe otherwise. However, if you do so, and if you want to make an argument based on any theist belief, the burden of proof is on you only: this means that you have to make a convincing case that particular entities exist, how they interact with our world, and why they would care about what you want to say, and why we should care.
I am more than happy to change my mind and share your insights if you can bring forward those evidence convincingly. Until that point, any ‘spiritual argument’ will plainly be rejected, and you will sometime have to content yourself with me mocking outlandish believes. Please also don’t resist a good joke when you have one.
Please send theist evidence to input@ponderer.io. I am happy to take a look if done serously.
